Vogel Declares Debate Victory, Citing Positive Response from Voters
ERIE, PA — Democratic nominee for Erie County Executive Christina Vogel thanked voters across Erie County for their positive response to this week’s debate, which aired Tuesday, October 7, calling it a clear validation of her message of collaboration and common-sense leadership.
“The debate gave voters a chance to see who we are as candidates and compare our visions for the future,” said Vogel. “I’m running to bring people together to solve problems — not sow division and pick political fights. I’m grateful that so many Erie County residents recognized that and are ready for a leader who listens, collaborates, and delivers real results.”
Following the debate, Vogel’s campaign continues to see growing momentum and bipartisan support from Democrats, Republicans, and independent voters, along with local labor organizations and community leaders committed to practical, people-first solutions.
“Our coalition reflects the whole of Erie County with people from every walk of life who believe county government should work for everyone,” Vogel said.
The debate re-airs tonight at 7:00 PM on WICU, Channel 12, and is available for streaming on Erie News Now+ (ENN+). In addition to the debate hosted by WQLN and Erie News Now, Vogel will be participating in upcoming candidate forums hosted by the Erie Regional Chamber of Commerce on October 17 and the North East Chamber of Commerce on October 22 over the next four weeks prior to Election Day.
